A. Setting up the Drone
Note: If you would like to use the obstacle avoidance feature, please attach it before setting up the drone.
1. First, make sure that the drone's battery is fully charged, the obstacle avoidance system is attached, and the drone's battery is intact and properly secured.
2. Next, turn on the drone and then turn on the remote controller. Wait a couple of seconds for the drone to successfully bind to the controller. Once you see the LED light near the power button stop blinking, it means the controller is successfully bound to the drone.
3. Finally, ensure you are in a wide open area, and the drone is at least 1 meter away from you and anyone else to avoid injury. Then, push the left throttle upward to fly the drone.
B. Connecting to the Drone's Application:
Step 1: Prepare the Drone Application
• Locate and scan the QR code provided in the app operating instructions using any QR scanner application. You can download one from your app store (App Store or Google Play Store).
• Alternatively, search for and install the "WiFi UAV" application from your app store.
Step 2: Connect Your Phone to the Drone's Wi-Fi
• Turn off your mobile data to prevent interference during the process.
• Open your phone's Settings.
• Find and select "Wi-Fi."
• Look for the drone's Wi-Fi name "Flow_4k_xxx"
Note: If you can't find the drone's Wi-Fi network, try enabling and disabling your phone's Wi-Fi to refresh the network list.
Step 3: Launch the "WiFi UAV" Application
• Open the "WiFi UAV" application on your phone.
• If prompted, agree to the user agreement and privacy policy.
• When asked, grant All the necessary permissions for the application to function properly.
• Inside the application, press the "PLAY" button.
• Wait for the drone's camera image to appear on your phone's screen. Once you see the image from the drone’s camera on your phone’s screen, it indicates that the drone application is successfully connected and ready to use.
Note: If the camera feed does not show after you press the start button, please press the back button and then press the start button again.
Recommended Note: After using the drone, make sure to remove the battery if you will not be flying it again soon. Charge the battery to at least 30%-100% to preserve its battery's lifespan.
